Iran Army kicks off airborne, missile, artillery drills

The airborne, missile, and artillery operations of the Eghtedar 1401 (Authority 2022) have kicked off in the presence of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Commander of Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid and his deputy Hossein Hassani-Sa’di, as well as Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Abdolrahim Mousavi.

The two-day military exercise started on Wednesday and will come to an end on Thursday in the Nasrabad region of Isfahan Province.

This part of the drills consists of reconnaissance operations by drones named Mohajer 6.

The missile and artillery units of the Iranian Army’s ground forces fired optimized and upgraded missiles and smart artillery shells to hit determined targets.

Electronic warfare, parachute landing, aerial bombardment, and fire support by helicopters are among other operations of the Eghtedar 1401 drills.
