Jakarta, (UNA-OIC) – Indonesia, as one of the largest rubber producers globally, is extending opportunities to China for cooperation in the tire industry.
“Only by increasing cooperation in various fields can we comprehend the meaning of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Indonesia and China in future,” Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun said in a statement carried by Antara Agency today.
In 2019, Indonesia was the second-largest natural rubber exporter in the world, with an export value of US$3.9 billion, contributing 29.8 percent to the value of the worldwide rubber exports.
