Bishkek, (UNA-OIC) – Hungary will be the first European country with which Kyrgyzstan will sign a Joint Declaration on Strategic Cooperation, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov said on Saturday.
In an interview with the state radio, the head of state noted that such an agreement has not yet been signed with any European country.
President Jeenbekov expressed confidence that this step will raise relations to a qualitatively new strategic level. “We also intend to establish a Kyrgyz-Hungarian Development Fund. The Hungarian Eximbank is going to allocate EUR 50 million for the fund as working capital. With the participation of this fund, we will create joint ventures. The fund will provide low-interest loans to small and medium-sized businesses,” he said, naming it another outstanding achievement.
