Riyadh (UNA-OIC) – Activities of the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit kicked off on Wednesday under the patronage of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, deputy premier and minister of defense.
More than 200 experts and decision-makers are participating in the two-day global summit organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) under the theme “AI for the Good of Humanity”.
The event features dialogues of global importance, whether in terms of recovering from the coronavirus pandemic or the trends that shape the field of artificial intelligence. Participants will discuss some strategic considerations necessary to establish an effective and influential AI system, encourage cooperation between leaders in this field, and explore appropriate national strategic options.
The Global AI Summit comes in the context of Saudi Arabia’s endeavor to achieve its aspirations for global leadership through the data-based economy and artificial intelligence. The summit will highlight SDAIA’s role in the strategic leadership of the alternative economy, in cooperation with many relevant authorities to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
