Paris (UNA-OIC) – France has renewed its full support for the new executive authority in Libya, expressing its willingness to help the North African nation to overcome this difficult stage.
This came during a meeting between Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohamed al-Manfi and his deputy, Musa Al-Koni, with French Defense Minister Florence Parly in Paris on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, most notably assistance to protect and secure the southern and maritime borders of Libya as well as combating the flow of illegal immigrants.
