Abu Dhabi (UNA-OIC) – The United Arab Emirates has continued to provide relief assistance to the Yemeni people as part of its humanitarian mission to alleviate the burden of the living conditions that affect the lives of the residents.
Some 16 tons of relief materials were provided, through the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, to 1,200 families in Al Alili camp in the coastal Yemeni city of Khokha in Hodeidah Governorate, within the second phase of relief efforts for 2020.
The locals expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the UAE and its humanitarian arm – the Red Crescent Authority – for the humanitarian support it provides to the displaced and needy families periodically every 21 days for four years now.
