China's President to visit Saudi Arabia, attend Chinese-Saudi summit

Riyadh (UNA-OIC) – The President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China pays an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from December 7-9, 2022.

The visit comes upon the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to strengthen the historical relations and the distinguished strategic partnership that unites the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of China.

During the visit a (Saudi-Chinese) summit will be held under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the President of the People’s Republic of China, and the participation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Based on the distinguished relations between the GCC countries and the Arab countries with the People’s Republic of China, the program of the visit will include the presence of His Excellency the President of China (Riyadh Gulf-China Summit for Cooperation and Development), and (Riyadh Arab-China Summit for Cooperation and Development), with the participation of Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses the leaders of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and Arab countries, where the two summits will discuss ways to enhance joint relations in all fields, and discuss prospects for economic and development cooperation.

It is noteworthy that Riyadh witnessed yesterday, Monday, the launch of the activities of the Arab-Chinese Media Cooperation Forum, with the participation of more than 150 personalities from the leaders of the most prominent Arab and Chinese media outlets.

The forum witnessed the launch of cooperation initiatives between Saudi Arabia and China, and seminars to discuss relations between China and the Arab world.
