Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa (BNA)
Manama (UNA-OIC) – Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the deputy supreme commander and first deputy prime minister, underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States.
This came during the crown prince’s virtual meeting with the newly appointed Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, US 5th Fleet, Vice Admiral Samuel Paparo.
The crown prince highlighted the long-standing ties between Bahrain and the US, stressing the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in military and defense, in order to consolidate regional security, stability and peace.
Also during the meeting, the two sides reviewed the regional and international issues of common interest.
