Algiers (UNA-OIC) – Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum held, on Sunday in Bamako, a series of talks with representatives of the Coordination of Azawad Movements (CMA) and the leaders of the Platform of Movements, who signed the Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in Mali, resulting from the Algiers Process.
The Algerian Foreign Ministry said in a press release that the Malian interlocutors expressed, during these meetings, their satisfaction with Algeria’s role and its solidarity with the Malian people, as well as the special attention it gave to the state of Mali, especially during this difficult period. They also renewed their keenness on the actual implementation of the Algiers Agreement, which “remains the best way for a permanent return to stability and suitable framework to address the many challenges faced by Mali”.
