Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen received here on Sunday Australian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ridwaan Jadwat, who also serves as Australia’s Special Envoy to the OIC.
During the meeting held at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the OIC and Australia, and ways to enhance them in various fields, such as issues of peace and security, combating terrorism, extremism, Islamophobia and hate speech. They also reviewed cooperation in the OIC’s scholarship, training and capacity building programs.
