Cairo (UNA-OIC) – The 154th session of the Arab League Council kicked off Wednesday at the level of foreign ministers, under the chair of the State of Palestine.
The meeting agenda includes a number of political, security, social, health and administrative items of interest to joint Arab action, foremost among which are developments in the Palestinian cause.
The agenda also covers social and health topics, including Arab cooperation in the field of confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, the Arab strategy to prevent and combat all forms of violence in refugee and displacement situations, especially sexual violence against women and girls, and an Arab study on violence against the elderly.
