11th Forum for Medical Research to discuss COVID-19 vaccine

Riyadh (UNA-OIC) – The activities of the 11th Annual Forum for Medical Research: “COVID-19 Vaccine: Global Challenges & Prospects forum” will be launched Wednesday under the patronage of Saudi Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.

The two-day virtual forum is one of the most important events in its field this year. It aims to bring together leaders in the field of coronavirus vaccine development and production, health institutions, academic institutions, businesses and world organizations to discuss the latest updates on COVID-19 vaccine development and possible availability to the public.

The forum is structured to represent all aspects of the vaccines in development for COVID-19 to ensure global participation from experts, decision-makers, news agencies, health workers and the public in general.

The event is organized by the Health Affairs of the Ministry of National Guard, King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), in collaboration with the Saudi G2 Secretariat, as well as a number of specialists in this field from several international academic and research institutions.

It is noteworthy that this forum is part of the programs of international conferences accompanying the G20 2020 Saudi Presidency.
