Jeddah, (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) praised the successful implementation of the first phase of Umrah’s gradual resumption.
In a statement on Wednesday, OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen praised the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on the resumption of Umrah while observing the precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the utmost care for visitors of the Grand Mosque.
Al-Othaimeen indicated that such measures aim to preserve Umrah performers’ health and safety and assure that the rituals occur in a healthy and safe environment.
